What is your photography style?
I would describe my style as “staged reportage” – most of the time, I aim to capture moments and shoot genuine emotions, but occasionally, I direct certain scenes. This mainly applies to the couple’s session, where I suggest poses and guide them at the start of the shoot. However, I always adapt to the people and their energy.
Do you work only in your region, or are you willing to travel?
Currently, I live in Szczecin, Poland, but I work all over Europe and even in the USA when invited.
How long have you been doing wedding photography?
Professionally for over 15 years.
Do you work alone, or do you have an assistant/second photographer?
Most of the time, I work alone – shooting and editing are all done by me. However, for large events, such as weddings with more than 150 guests, I always work with a second photographer. I also collaborate as a second photographer for other professionals.
What equipment do you use?
I shot with Canon for half my career, but in recent years, I switched to Sony. I love these cameras for their lightness and compactness.
Do you have backup cameras and equipment?
Absolutely! I’ve been in this business long enough to know better than to risk working with only one camera. I always carry two cameras, two flashes, and at least four lenses. Each camera has two memory cards, and when I get home, I copy everything to two separate drives. Backup is crucial because I create family memories, and those are priceless.
What happens if you can’t come to the wedding due to unforeseen circumstances?
I can only recall one instance when I was ill with COVID. I arranged for a colleague to substitute for me. Of course, I apologized, refunded the deposit, and offered the couple a free photoshoot as compensation.
Do you require a deposit to book the date?
Yes, I usually take a deposit of 10% to 30%, depending on the region where I’m shooting. If flights and hotel bookings are required, the deposit is higher to cover these costs.
Do you offer discounts for small weddings or weekday events?
Yes, for smaller weddings, I offer hourly payment options. For weekday or winter shoots, I have special deals – feel free to ask.
Can we change our wedding date after booking?
Yes, but only if the new date is still available.
Can we book additional hours if needed?
Of course – I have a page with up-to-date pricing in my package list.
How much time do wedding portraits usually take?
Usually, 1–2 hours is enough, but sometimes we manage everything in just 20–30 minutes.
Do you provide printed albums or only digital photos?
Yes, I offer printed albums.
Can we get the unedited (RAW) photos?
Of course – I have no problem with that. These are your photos.
How will we receive the final photographs?
I deliver them via a link to an online gallery, available for one year. After that, I move your photos to an archive. My archive includes all shoots since 2008.
Do you shoot engagements or love stories?
Yes, of course. Quite often, this is a gift when booking a wedding shoot – keep an eye on my promotions.
Do you offer photoshoots after the wedding?
Of course – I also offer discounts and special terms for regular clients.
Is videography available in your team?
Unfortunately, no. I recently moved to Poland and haven’t yet added a videographer to my team. However, I’ve recently introduced a new service – a wedding day Highlight Video. It’s a short clip featuring the most memorable moments. While it can’t replace a full wedding video, it’s a great bonus for couples who don’t hire a videographer.
Can you help us choose a location for the photoshoot?
Of course, I always do that.
Book your date to get lifetime memories!
Thank you!
